About GLO Preemies

Our Mission

 GLO Preemies™ seeks to raise the voice of black families in the NICU and post-NICU in terms of creating racial and health equity through professional healthcare services, family educational initiatives, and family support up for African American families for a continuous 18 years.

Our Programs

We offer a variety of programs to help our clients get back on their feet. From care boxes, GLO Preemies TV, job training to mental health counseling, we provide the resources and support necessary to help individuals achieve their goals. 


Starting 2026 we will begin Sensory Care boxes for our older families.

We are excited to share that on January 5, 2026, we will open the sign-up list for the GLO Preemies Roadmap Booklet — a long-awaited resource created directly from lived experience. What are people saying about the GLO Preemies Roadmap Booklet? Families and Professionals have told us again and again: “Finally — a book that walks with families, not ahead of them.” and "This book is about what to expect when the unexpected happens".


This roadmap is designed to:

  • Help families navigate the NICU journey step by step
  • Offer clarity during overwhelming moments
  • Support parents beyond discharge, not just during hospitalization
  • Affirm families emotionally, practically, and culturally
  • More details will be shared when sign-ups open on January 5, 2026.
